About
WHO ARE WE?
The Spokesman is the student news site of Princeton Day School. We cover the going-ons of PDS, the controversial opinions, and the fun day-to-day humor we see school-wide.
WHAT IS OUR GOAL AS A PUBLICATION?
To provide the Princeton Day School community with an unbiased, informative, real source of information and to help young writers to grow and prosper in our community of journalists.
HOW FREQUENTLY DO WE PUBLISH ARTICLES?
We aim to publish at least one article online for each section per week and in print once per month! If we fail to meet your expectations, hold us accountable!
WHERE CAN YOU FIND US?
Find any editors or the three Editors-in-Chief (Amy Lin, Cynthia Shen, Clara Shin) in school or email us!

WHAT ARE OUR POLICIES?
Any corrected/retracted mistakes will be marked clearly at the bottom of the article for the purpose of promoting transparency and honesty in our community. It will be obvious how and why the article was edited.
We allow anonymous stories in the form of personal narratives or controversial opinion articles and will ensure internally that all sources are reliable.
All articles will be checked appropriately for plagiarism before publishing, and if any plagiarized content is published, it will be removed and followed by a public apology on behalf of the entire publication.
The information published in the Spokesman will be fact-checked by copy editors and editors-in-chief.
We grant take-down requests solely from the writer of the piece, an editor-in-chief, or a faculty advisor to the paper.
We will always be open to considering any criticism posed in comments, messages, or notes.
